Roles and Responsibilities

• Own the overall architectural and technical direction for SaaS enablement of our product
• Responsible for the selection and use of frameworks, platforms and design patterns for Cloud based multi-tenant SaaS based application
• Candidate must have a strong product and architectural vision and have demonstrated the ability to execute on it.

Basic Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer science or engineering field and 10+ years of relevant experience (Master's Degree preferred)
• 7+ years of experience in architecting and developing medium to large scale software products
• Experience leading the architecture, design and development of large scale distributed SaaS based applications for the cloud (GCP, AWS or Azure)
• Detailed understanding of architecture principles, methods, technology and standards for AWS
• Experience with Cloud native application patterns
• Ability to contribute and be hands on anywhere in the stack and wear different hats
• Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/iterative methodologies required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with building and running large scale, distributed, highly-available and fault-tolerant applications in a SaaS environment
• Knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3, CloudWatch, VPC, Networking, IAM)
• Experience with Containers and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Security Architecture, Scheduling and Monitoring, Infrastructure automation desired
• Experience with on-premise to cloud migrations
