Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience with MS Access, VB/VBA
• At least 2 years of experience in writing SQL Server queries
• Sharp understanding of query optimization methods
• Strong problem solving skills
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a multitasking environment
• Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively both technically and non-technically with a wide degree of audiences
• Ability to grasp business and technical concepts quickly and work out complex logic problems

Would be a plus:

• Experience with C#
• Experience with Windows servers, website development, and business analysis
• Experience with ecommerce
• Experience with SSRS, Terminal Services, Active Directory

Responsibilities

• Primary Duties and Responsibilities
• Designing and developing applications using MS Access 2013 / VBA and MS SQL Server databases
• Making improvements to existing business applications
• Analyzing and optimizing business processes
• Defining, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements
• Installing, configuring and maintaining additional modules and other 3rd party tools on Company’s servers
• Develop custom scripts to automate various business processes
• Review and optimize existing stored procedures, functions, triggers and queries
• Doing occasional development using C#
• Additional duties as assigned.
